Landscape of Galapagos

The 10th edition of the Latin-American Premios Verdes is coming to the Galapagos from April 19 to 22 April 2023. PAGE is supporting the SDG Award, which recognizes a project among the 500 finalists that meets most SDG targets.

Since the first edition of Premios Verde in 2013, participation has grown exponentially. For the 10th edition,  500 projects among 3000 applications have been selected to compete in top five categories: circular economy, sustainable human development, habitat and ecosystem conservation, sustainable farming and food production and academic sustainability. The projects are evaluated twice in depth by a group of experts who dedicate their time and experience to rate candidates’ work. The jury is made up of two international divisions: the technical commission, which selects the 500 finalists and the Annual Jury who chooses the winners.

The Premios Verdes (Green Awards) aim to highlight and support initiatives in Latin-America that deliver sustainable actions that have a positive impact on society. This year the event celebrates 10 years working to build a planet with more equitable realities.
