Tim Scott

Tim Scott serves with the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support of the United Nations Development Programme in New York as senior policy advisor on inclusive green economy and linked environment and natural capital themes. This work involves coordination with sister agencies and partners across several global, regional, and country initiatives supporting the design, financing, implementation and monitoring of country-driven sustainable development policies. He brings to this assignment over fifteen years of experience with the UN, public sector and civil society, working on the intersection between environmental sustainability, economic growth, and social progress. His previous assignments have included a focus on climate change, trade and investment, economic management, and development metrics. He has worked in several countries including in Central Asia and South-East Europe
